Another day and another Ebola hoax that wastes everyone’s time, but unfortunately, this one happened at Dublin Airport.
According to a report from the Irish Mirror, a passenger on the 1pm Aer Lingus flight from Dublin to Milan claimed he had Ebola before the flight left the ground.
A DAA spokesman said: “A passenger on board an Aer Lingus flight from Milan has made a claim during the flight that he had the ebola virus.
“As a precaution the plane’s captain alerted authorities and opted not to deplane passengers pending further investigations.
“The HSE and gardai have been contacted.”
According to Twitter user, @Odie_G, whose father was on the flight, the threat was made via a coffee cup.
The plane Dad is on is still sitting on the tarmac of Dublin Airport. The man made the Ebola threat by writing on a coffee cup. So scary.
