Even if you love your job as much as we love our job (we know you’re reading boss and seriously, we do love our job), you wouldn’t be human if you didn’t get annoyed by the habits of your colleagues in the office.
Certain people in the JOE office, for example, can’t stand it when certain other people in the JOE office are glad to accept the offer of a cup of tea while rarely reciprocating the offer, but we’re sure you can think of a few of your own at the drop of a hat.
Luxury lifestyle brand Nicoccino surveyed over 1,000 male and female office workers to find out the things that really irked them about an office environment, asking them to choose from a range of pre-determined options.
Men, maybe surprisingly, can’t stand messiness and they don’t like it when their colleagues take it upon themselves to extend their lunch hour either.
Women, on the other hand, can’t stand smelly food, being late or their co-workers who take too many cigarette breaks.
No mention of not making a cuppa for their colleagues? Must be just us then.
The results for both sexes are interesting enough in any case and we’d be surprised if you can’t think of someone in your office who’s guilty of at least one of the items on the list below.
