Reports say that three men have been arrested for the Charlie Hebdo killings

The suspects are rumoured to be under armed-guard tonight.

According to reports in France, the men suspected of committing the Charlie Hebdo murders are in police custody tonight after being arrested 100 miles from the murder scene.

French newspaper Liberation website reports that the three men had fled to Reims, in eastern France, following the massacre which left 12 dead and four wounded.

There has been no confirmation from French authorities over any arrest, but local press are saying the men have been identified.

According to other reports, the three men were identified by police after one of them left an ID card in the car that they abandoned during their escape.
