Huge developments in the French capital this afternoon.

Both suspects in the Charlie Hebdo massacre in Paris have been killed after police stormed the building they were taking cover in today.

AFP are reporting that the two men came out firing on security forces before they were killed.

The hostages being held at the Kosher supermarket and at Dammartin have been freed and are safe, according to police sources.

There are also reports that some special forces officers have been injured in the incidents.

UPDATE:

French police official has reported that the two brothers suspected in the Charlie Hebdo have been killed.

Reuters reports that four of the hostages at the Paris supermarket have died, citing a police source.
