Well, we had a good laugh at it anyways.
One of Trump’s most important surrogates throughout the presidential campaign has been the former Mayor of New York City, Rudy Giuliani.
Giuliani accompanied Trump on a surprise trip to Mexico yesterday where the businessman met with Mexican president Enrique Peña Nieto.
At first, it seemed as though the meeting had been productive. The two men delivered a joint statement to the press wherein Donald Trump claimed that his plans to build a giant wall across America’s border with Mexico and make Mexico pay for it had not been discussed.
This was later refuted, as Peña Nieto claimed that he had told Trump that his country would not be paying for the border wall.
BREAKING: Pena Nieto says he told Trump that Mexico won't pay for border wall, contradicting Trump, who says it was not discussed.

While the border wall is, of course, the more substantive issue at hand – the internet was pretty interested in a different talking point: Rudy Giuliani’s headwear. Giuliani was wearing a a variation of one of Trump’s famous ‘Make America Great Again’ hats that said, and this isn’t a joke, ‘Make Mexico Great Again Also’.

Just as I predicted a year ago, this election has come down to Rudy Giuliani in a Make Mexico Great Again Also hat.
