It will be a reunion.

Irish actors Saoirse Ronan and Paul Mescal are set to reunite on The Graham Norton Show this week.

The Foe co-stars are both promoting major projects this week with Mescal set to talk about his role in blockbuster Gladiator II.

All the while, Ronan joins the Irish actor and host Norton to discuss her latest project, Blitz.

The Little Women actress has been tipped to land her fifth Oscar nomination for her role in the Steve McQueen-directed movie.

The Irish actors previously worked together on the film adaptation of Ian Reid’s novel Foe.

However, they were unable to promote the sci-fi in person together due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

Ronan has often spoken about her special friendship with fellow Oscar-nominee Mescal.

She previously told Document that they became close after working on Foe together.

“We knew each other sort of in passing before, just through friends. We’ve become very, very close since making the film,” she said.

“We’re genuine friends; we’re not Hollywood friends.”

Mescal will be joined by his Gladiator II co-star Denzel Washington on this week’s Graham Norton Show.

Oscar-winning actor Eddie Redmayne will also be on the programme to discuss his latest TV show The Day of the Jackal.

In terms of music, English indie rock band Blossoms will perform on Friday night’s show, which will air in Ireland on BBC One at 10.40pm
