Foul play is not suspected.
Gardaí are investigating the sudden death of a serving member of An Garda Síochána following an incident at Ballymun Station.
In a statement, Gardaí said that the alarm was raised shortly before 9pm on Saturday night.
The scene has been examined by the Garda Technical Bureau and the Coroner has been notified. Foul play is not suspected.
The matter has been referred to the Garda Síochána Ombudsman Commission (GSOC).
