It’s a beautiful day out there today, and it looks even better from space.
There has been a glut of ‘Ireland from space’ pictures of late, thanks chiefly to everyone’s favourite astronaut, Commander Chris Hadfield.
The Canadian space dweller specialises in shots of our dear island at night, and while they are lovely, this daytime shot from his colleagues at NASA is even better.
Tweeted by the good folk at The Meteo Times it claims to show an aerial shot of what Ireland looked like from space at 1pm today.

As you can see, bar a few wisps of cloud on the east coast, Ireland is bathed in sunshine today. Okay, it’s a bit chilly, but at least our Vitamin D levels should creep back up a bit today.
