Well, you do have to know that Patrick Stewart did play the role of Captain Jean Luc Picard in the TV series Star Trek: The Next Generation for many years and also appeared as the same character in a number of Star Trek films but most people associate Stewart with Picard, right?
Stewart was banking on that fact when he posed for a picture outside an appropriately-named French supermarket earlier this evening and judging by the 6,200 + retweets, the majority of people on the Twittersphere at least seemed to make the connection.
