One of these days, someone is going to check their pockets and be VERY pleased.
The National Lottery has confirmed that nobody has yet come forward to claim the €8.5 million worth of winnings from Saturday night’s Lotto Jackpot. It has been almost two days since the draw was made.
The sum is the largest jackpot that Ireland has seen so far in 2018, and the winning ticket was definitely purchased in County Galway. Specifically, it was bought in Corrib Oil Service Station in The Hill, Loughrea, Co. Galway.
Dermot Griffin, Chief Executive of the National Lottery has appealed for Lotto players to check their tickets: “We are looking forward to welcoming our biggest Lotto jackpot winner of the year into our winners’ room. We are again appealing to all of our players in Galway to check their tickets and to get in touch with our prize claims team so we can make arrangements for them to collect their prize.”
In case you’ve not yet given your ticket from Saturday a once-over, the winning numbers were 06, 06, 14, 19, 22, 30 and bonus number was 24.
But hey, if you don’t want it, we’ll take it off your hands…
The jackpot returns to €2 million for Wednesday night’s Lotto.
