Storm Frank is on its way as another day of brutal weather hits Ireland

Joe Harrington

Another bad day out there.

Met Eireann has issued a yellow wind warning today and they’ve also asked people in western counties to brace themselves for heavy rainfall over the next few days.

People in Donegal, Galway, Mayo, Clare, Cork and Kerry can expect winds of 60-80km/h and the warning will remain in place until 1pm today.

There is some good news though as Tuesday is expected to be a lot dryer with the odd shower here and there rather than the incessant rain we’ve been experiencing recently.

#StormFrank is the top trending topic in Ireland at the moment, here are some of the tweets.
