A 19-year-old is fighting for his life after a balcony accident in Galway late on Wednesday night.
The accident took place around 11pm at the Dun na Coiribe apartment complex on the Headford Road in Galway city, an area heavily populated by students.
The young man was immediately taken to University Hospital Galway before being transferred to Dublin.
He is reported to have sustained serious injuries.
