The members will go to a ballot again…

In what is welcome news for the people of Dublin, all of the planned strikes by Dublin Bus are set to be suspended after talks between unions and management.

According to Independent.ie, the strikes have been suspended, pending a secret ballot among workers over a deal struck by unions and Dublin Bus management.

This will mean that services will run on All-Ireland Final day on Saturday when Dublin face Mayo in a replay in Croke Park.

Eleven days of planned strike action have been suspended until the results of the secret ballot.
