The aid worker was murdered on camera by ISIS on Friday.
The Independent on Sunday’s front page this morning perfectly makes for powerful journalism.
Following the murder of 47-year-old aid worker Alan Henning, a former taxi driver from Salford, on Friday, the paper goes for a stark black background with the words, ‘On Friday a decent, caring human being was murdered in cold blood. Our thoughts are with his family. He was killed, on camera, for the sole purpose of propaganda. Here is the news, not the propaganda.’
