Tomorrow’s papers are going to be full to the brim of supplements dedicated to the late Margaret Thatcher and the cover of the front of the one in The Guardian is very good indeed.

Whatever about the feeling towards Thatcher in this country, opinion was divided about the late Prime Minister who passed away at the age of 87 on Monday.

With this in mind, the creative heads at The Guardian splashed Thatcher’s face on the front of a jar of marmite (renamed ‘Margaret’ for the purposes of the supplement), which famously had a marketing slogan ‘Love it or hate it’.

As well as that, the ‘contains iron’ line, in reference to her nickname, ‘The Iron Lady’ is a very clever touch as well.

Excellent work all round.
