Is “eliminating” Covid-19 an option in Ireland?

Our first real glimpse at the “new normal”.

The Republic of Ireland accelerated into Phase Two of its Covid-19 lockdown lift this week, as retail outlets returned to business and people began to travel within their own counties.

There were movements on what will happen when schools return in September, news on visits to nursing homes returning, a debate around whether “eliminating” Covid-19 is a possibility in Ireland and the public were asked to redouble their efforts when it comes to face coverings.
