A heads up for anyone who regularly uses the service.
Passengers who normally use the Luas green line service were forced to seek alternative means of transport due to a suspension of the service on Friday morning.
The day after the latest in a series of one-day strikes by Luas workers in their continued dispute with Luas operator Transdev, passengers were informed that there would be no service on the green line for an indefinite period due to a technical fault at the Sandyford Depot.
No #Green Line service due to technical fault at Sandyford . Tickets valid Dublin Bus. https://t.co/gNJzdMEoLr

Tickets for the Luas will be valid for Dublin Bus as long as the service remains inactive.
Maintenance workers were on site and working on the fault on Friday morning, but the suspension of service is bound to cause more traffic problems in Dublin following the Luas strike on Thursday and ahead of further one-day strikes planned for next month.
Looks like that Bank Holiday weekend traffic could be a little more manic than usual.
