This car in Roscommon was caught ridiculously overloaded by the Guards

What were they thinking?

Joe Harrington

What were they thinking?

The Gardaí were going about their business in Roscommon town this week when they spotted a driver not wearing a seatbelt.

They pulled the driver over because you can’t do, but what they found in the car beggars belief.

There were five people in the car, two in the front and three in the back, but then they discovered there were two more people travelling in the boot of the car.

The two in the back ended up having to get the train for the rest of their journey while the driver was given a ticket for an overloaded vehicle.

The Gardaí are using to incident to urge people not to overload and to wear a seatbelt.
