The Twittersphere is alive today with the news that smoking marijuana at a young age can permanently reduce your IQ. Clearly this guy started smoking at young age…

A new report conducted by an international team in New Zealand has found that those who start using cannabis below the age of 18 – while their brains are still developing – can suffer form a drop in IQ.

The study looked at around 1,000 participants over a period of about 25 years and it tested their mental abilities as children before they ever knew what cannabis – or the devils lettuce – was. The study again tested the participants 25 years later after some of them became heavy users.

According to one member of the research team, Prof Terrie Moffitt of King’s College London, “It is such a special study that I’m fairly confident that cannabis is safe for over-18 brains, but risky for under-18 brains.”

That may come as good news to all the Cheech and Chong’s out there, but it was this epic tweet that caught our attention.

As you can see, Harry Williams was reading a “deadly serious BBC article about cannabis lowering young ppl’s IQ” when he then found this gem of a comment from someone called Myky D:

I got stoned for a whole month one night.”

It’s clear that Myky D obviously started on the wacky tobacky a little too early…
