It mightn’t have gone down too well in Buckingham Palace, but there is some good to be taken from the nude antics of Prince Harry in Las Vegas that, hardly surprisingly, went viral in the last 24 hours.
Liz, Charlie and Wills might be having a word or two in Harry’s ear whenever he’s back on British soil, but the pictures of him cavorting with a naked woman in Vegas showed that not all members of the Royal Family are stiff and upper class and too important to occasionally let their hair down like us regular folk.
Also, and perhaps far more importantly, as pointed out by Irish comedian and Republic of Telly regular Bernard O’Shea, the sight of Harry dancing with an attractive female gave hope to an often marginalised class, often looked down on by the rest of society: Ginger folk.
Of course, attractive women might seek Harry’s company because of his wealth and profile as one of the most identifiable men on the planet, but these latest antics will give red-haired people hope regardless, even gingers who attend Coppers on a regular basis.
