We love the pictures from the All-Star visit to New York and this is our favourite yet.
As we showed you earlier in the week, Sam Maguire was carefully put through security by Donegal boss Jim McGuinness and now we know that his close friend Liam MacCarthy also made the trip.
This picture, posted by the GAA on their Twitter feed last night is class. It shows Footballer of the Year Karl Lacey of Donegal with Sam and Hurler of the Year Henry Shefflin with Liam, smack bang in the middle of Times Square.
While we’re not 100 per cent behind the GPA idea to play big games in the States, there is something very cool about seeing two of our best amateur sportspeople, with their respective trophies, smack in the centre of one of the world’s most iconic cities.
Good work GAA, good work.
