Paddy Barnes is at it again and we love it…
What’s that old chestnut? If they shutdown all the porn sites on the internet, there’d be only be one website left and it would be called “Bring Back The Porn.”
Well if they shutdown Twitter we’d definitely start up a new site called “Bring Back the Paddy Barnes Twitter Account.”
You don’t really need to follow anyone else for entertainment value during the Olympics (except @Joedotie!)
As we pointed last week the Belfast man is a great source of entertainment inside and outside the ring and we were absolutely delighted to see him beat his opponent today to leave him one fight short of replicating his feat of a bronze medal from 2008. (We’re holding out that the Belfast light-flyweight does even better this time.)
Today he became the first boxer to live-tweet his performance from the ring in our Tweet(s) of the day:
Barnes immediately tweeting from the ring having progressed.
The fun didn’t stop there he also promoted his Twitter account by having it on the side of his Protein shake post-fight.
