Our tweet of the day concerns man-crushes and comes from Leinster rugby star Rob Kearney.
It may be a cliché but Rob Kearney has always come across as the guy all the guys want to be and all the girls want to be with, so what kind of man would he admire?
Today he announced his own personal man-crush on Twitter though, Mr. David Beckham.
David Beckham’s true status as an all-time great footballer might be up for debate, the late, great George Best once quipping “He cannot kick with his left foot, he cannot head a ball, he cannot tackle and he doesn’t score many goals. Apart from that he’s all right.”
Although as far as a man crush goes, he’s a pretty good option, he seems to be a good Dad, very stylish and brought the Olympics to London…you can also see from the recent viral video below that he seems like a genuinely sound lad.
Rob’s not the first sportsman to state their affection Becks either, Brazilian Ronaldo was smitten with Goldenballs after playing against England in the World Cup saying,”When you swap shirts after the match you expect it to smell bad, because of the sweat. But Beckham’s smelled really nice. Right after the game ended everyone was saying that Beckham is really handsome.”
We won’t expect anything to come from it though Leinster and Ireland’s star already has a pretty hot squeeze in former Footballer’s Wives star Susie Amie.
