We’re a little late to the game on this one but it was such a bizarre exchange that we had to bring it to your attention. Who knew Justin Bieber and Lukas Podolski were besties?
Previously we had thought that the relationship between current MK Dons footballer Alan Smith and Justin Timberlake was the oddest sportsman/celebrity friendship, but the apparent friendship of teen singing sensation Justin Bieber and Arsenal and Germany footballer Lukas Podolski certainly rivals it on the bizarre-o scale.
We’re not saying there’s anything wrong with it or anything, but we can’t have been the only ones who raised an eyebrow when we came across the following tweet sent by The Beibmeister general yesterday. It wasn’t just the message, of course, but the fact that he said ‘What up Jamie hole’ that really caught our eye.
Almost 36,000 retweets suggest that we weren’t the only ones that found it a bit odd but then again, Bieber could tweet about having a slice of toast and it would get 20,000 retweets so maybe we shouldn’t read too much into that particular number.
