There seems to be a growing consensus that the Olympics will bring a new level of chaos to the English capital over the next couple of weeks.

There seems to be a growing consensus that the Olympics will bring a new level of chaos to the English capital over the next couple of weeks.

It’s a consensus that’s been bolstered by the detailed musings of a few athletes, with our own gymnast Kieran Behan finding one journey through the Olympic Park taking him in a couple of circles and American sprinter Kerron Clement tweeting about a four-hour journey from Heathrow Airport to the Olympic village.

With today forecast to be the busiest day in the history of Heathrow we were expecting a few tales of woe to emerge.

But that doesn’t seem to be the case – according to BBC broadcaster Clare Balding and Sports Illustrated writer Grant Wahl at least.
