The altercation happened in Dublin 8.
Two people have been injured in an incident which occurred on Friday afternoon in Dublin city.
Gardaí in Kevin Street are currently investigating an assault that occurred in the Oliver Bond Flats, Dublin 8 where two men were left seriously injured.
One man was stabbed in the stomach, while the other was stabbed in the hand.
One of the two was taken to St James Hospital, where his injuries are thought not to be life threatening.
Investigations are on going.
