Predictive text can be a handy and very convenient tool but it can also lead to some hilarious and inadvertent cock-ups, as was the case with the RTE MNS Twitter account last night.
As we make sure to point out whenever we highlight unfortunate errors elsewhere on the interweb, we’re from infallible on these pages and are as prone to mistakes as anyone else.
Whenever those unfortunate errors prove to be inadvertently hilarious, however, we can’t help but point them out, as was the case on the RTE MNS Twitter account during the Shamrock Rovers v Salthill Devon game last night in a post about Jason McGuinness going close with an effort from a corner.

He did what?
In fairness to whoever was operating the account last night they were well able to take the bit of slagging that came their way in the immediate aftermath of sending the tweet and made sure not to make the same mistake the next time around.

Good recovery lads.
Hat-tip to Pearse Corcoran for this one
