It’s reported that the Islamic State militants are behind the attacks.
The death toll following the attacks at Istanbul’s Ataturk Airport has now risen to 36 people after three suicide bombers opened fire before blowing themselves up at the airport.
The number of dead is likely to rise to 50, and Turkey’s Prime Minister has claimed that Islamic State militants are the perpetrators. He said that “the evidence points to Daesh”, which is another name for ISIS. 150 other people were injured during the attack.
Three suicide bombers opened fire at passengers with automatic rifles before blowing themselves up, Yildirim said.
