There’s something almost hypnotic about this.
Much as we might be excited about heading off somewhere exotic like New York or eh, Newcastle for the weekend, the whole airport experience can be as painful as pulling teeth for airline passengers.
As such, we don’t often appreciate the amount of work that goes into getting the planes we travel in ready for take-off and ensuring that they land safely, but there is an awful lot that goes into it.
JOE reader Ciarán Flynn spent some time watching Aer Lingus planes embarking from and landing in Dublin Airport yesterday and though there’s nothing revolutionary about what’s going in his timelapse below, it really is quite cool to watch it all speeded up.
The sooner they can make it as efficient as this in real-time, the better.
Cheers to Ciaran Flynn for sending this our way. If you have something you would like to share with us, send it to editorial@JOE.ie or find us on Facebook or Twitter.
