Rarely have points so forcefully made sounded so eloquent.
The nationwide protests against the introduction of water charges continued today, with protestors taking to the streets in major towns such as Dublin, Limerick, Cork and Galway to vent their opposition.
They also turned out in Letterkenny in Donegal, where those who did take to the streets were treated to a brilliantly-delivered poem by local man Andrew Galvin, who spoke of his grievances against the current government and held the audience in thrall for a full seven minutes in Letterkenny Market Square.

Whatever your political leanings, it’s hard not to be impressed by Andrew’s performance and it shows that when it comes to protesting, the spoken word is an effective method as anything else.
