VIDEO: Explosion heard during France v Germany match at Stade de France, terrified fans gather on the pitch

This is just shocking.

At least 40 people, and possibly even more, are reported to have died as a result of explosions and shootings in Paris tonight.

A number of explosions occurred near the Stade de France, where the French football team were in action against Germany, and hostages were taken at Paris Bataclan concert hall, where a concert featuring Eagles of Death Metal – who performed in Dublin earlier this week – was taking place.

A shooting also took place at a restaurant in the city and the latest reports suggest that at least 40 people have been confirmed dead as a result of the shocking events in the French capital.

During the France v Germany game at the Stade de France, an explosion could allegedly be heard during the game.
