Thank god that no one was injured.
Firefighters in Dublin managed to avert a potential tragedy last night after they had to battle a blaze that threatened to engulf the derelict shopping centre in Ballymun, Dublin.
Anyone that has been in the area will know the pavilion of shops that are adjacent to The Towers pub and it’s here where the fire broke out.
Five units of the Dublin Fire Brigade were called out to deal with the situation and they managed to get the fire under control in less than 90 minutes.
The incident has now been passed over the Gardai for further investigation.
