The rain around the country has been absolutely torrential in the last few hours and our shoes and socks feel like they’ve just been taken out of a washing machine. Things we learned today – bring spare socks everywhere.
The drainage on Irish roads is always tested to its limits on days like today with ‘road rivers’ becoming a common sight around the place and a few have already appeared in Armagh.
JOE reader Ciaran White was driving down a road in the south of the county earlier today and came across some flooding. Ciaran’s amazement and commentary on what happened next is one of the funniest things we’ve heard in a while.
