Shocking, absolutely shocking.
Tens of thousands of people congregated in Dublin for the #Right2Water protest yesterday and, unfortunately, there were some disturbing scenes, as was evident in the confrontations between some protesters and members of the Gardai.
The most shocking scene to emerge from yesterday’s protest, however, occurred on the quays near Liberty Hall, where a silver jeep appeared to drive through a crowd of protesters before fleeing the scene.
The video was sent into the FM104 Phoneshow with Chris Barry and it was published on YouTube a little earlier; it was also revealed that one man was hospitalised as a result of the incident.
Readers should be warned that the footage is quite disturbing in places.
