Reports state that at least 12 people have been killed and 60 people have been injured.
A massive explosion has taken place at a fireworks market in Mexico.
It occurred in Tultepec, on the northern outskirts of the capital.
Emergency services were at the scene as plumes of smoke rose into the sky.
Hotspots were being hosed down and people were being told to stay away from the area.
