One man remains in a serious condition in Chile after the elevator he was traveling in malfunctioned and raced up 31 stories in a matter of seconds.
The incident occurred late last week in Providencia, Chile. According to reports, the elevator would have traveled at speeds up to 80kmh before it crashed into the roof of the building.
FOX News reports that the man in question, Jose Vergara Acevedo, suffered leg and head injuries as a result. We just hope he pulls through.
