If the head isn’t great and you’re already on your third coffee to get you going, spare a thought for these people in China.
This was the scene on the gigantic G4 Beijing-Hong Kong-Macau Expressway as China celebrated a national holiday at the end of last week.
National Day celebrations start on October 1st and run for an entire, with workers given three days off work in a bid to increase tourism.
According to the Independent.co.uk, the result was this 50-lane-wide gridlock due to a new toll station in Beijing squeezing too many cars into far too small a space.
This shows people walking between their cars as they wait for the gridlock to pass. This really puts the M50 into perspective.
