Video: Turkish man admits to killing two women… while on dating show

No prizes for guessing that the man in question, 62-year-old Sefer Calinak, didn’t bag a date after being booted off of Turkey’s popular dating show, “Luck of the Draw”…

According to the Huff Post, “One of the show’s producers told the Turkish paper Milliyet that they were aware of one murder before the show, but allowed him to participate anyway since he had served his time.”

Calinak served four years of a 13-year jail sentence for killing his first wife, who was also his cousin, saying: “I was jealous and I killed her, in a way.”

Calinak then admitted to killing a second woman after she reneged on a promise to leave her husband for him.

“I killed her after she tried to kill me,” he said. “She was accidentally killed when I swung the axe.”

Yeah, “accidentally“.

As a wise man once said: “There’s a time an a place for everything”, but admitting to killing two ex-lovers while on a TV dating show certainty isn’t one of them…
