These lads deserves so much praise after this incredible achievement…

Sean Buckley and James Colbert completed one of the most grueling physical feats that we’ve ever heard of on Sunday after finishing their 2068 kilometre challenge.

The two men set off on the challenge on August 3 and since that date, they’ve swam 120 kilometres in the Shannon River, cycled 1,780km through each of the 32 counties in Ireland and ended the challenge with four marathons. We’re exhausted after reading that, wow!

Sean and James were given a hero’s welcome as they completed the final marathon in Midleton yesterday. Here’s a video of the lads getting to the finish line and as you can imagine after doing something as huge as that, there were some emotional scenes…

Sean and James did the Endurance 2068 Challenge to raise money for cancer research. You can still donate directly through the website www.endurancechallenge.ie or text BCR to 50300 to make a €4 donation to Breakthrough Cancer Research.

Fair play to them, it’s an incredible thing that they’ve done.
