We can barely believe this.
In a meeting today between the Public Accounts Committee and representatives from the Department of Environment some startling revelations came to light about Irish Water.
Irish Water received a grant of €439m from the government in 2014 and is also expected to receive €399m and €479m for this year and next year respectively.
Now try to not get too hot and bothered here lads, but then the committee heard that two thirds of this money came from motor tax payments. Here’s a video of the events that occurred at the meeting:
