The artistic wizards from Cork-based graphic design studio, Dynamite Studio, recently recreated the city like you’ve never seen it before… and it’s epic.
Dynamite Studio’s Jason O’Gorman (the man behind ‘100 Facts You Probably Didn’t Know About Cork‘) has been spending a bit of spare time here and there over the past four months working on a rather impressive ‘side-project’. Why? Because there was nothing good on TV… apparently.
Combining twenty photographs taken from the top of Patrick’s Hill, Cork, Jason then stitched the images together in Photoshop to create one massive 9 x 3 foot image.
He then painstakingly hand-traced the photographs in Adobe Illustrator using a Wacom Bamboo tablet and what he created is an absolutely amazing hand drawn image of Cork. We can only imagine the exam-style hand cramp that must have ensued afterwards…
For any diehard Corkonians out there, or anyone who wishes they were a true blooded rebel from The Rebel County, Dynamite Studios are giving you the chance to win a 6 x 2 foot copy of the finished project over on their Facebook page.
It’s definitely worth a look…
Hat tip to Jason O’Gorman
