It was Groundhog Day yesterday or is it today again?
We’re not quite sure, but at a ceremony yesterday in Sun Prairies of Wisconsin, the official groundhog, Jimmy, didn’t waste any time in letting his feelings be known to the mayor.
In the video below, the Mayor is giving a speech as the groundhog is held very close to his face. We don’t know why it was held at such close proximity to his face, but the bite seemed inevitable.
To his credit, Mayor Freund carried on regardless, pausing only for a second to thank the groundhog.
Jimmy the groundhog has been unavailable for comment.
