WATCH: Donald Trump claims that President Obama “founded ISIS”

He’s getting worse…

Donald Trump intensified his attacks on President Obama last night when he accused him of founding the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant group (ISIS).

The Republican Presidential nominee made the comments at a rally in Florida. The new controversy comes just one day after Trump allegedly suggested that someone should shoot Hilary Clinton.

“In many respects, you know, they honor President Obama,” Mr. Trump told the gathered crowd on Wednesday night.

“He’s the founder of ISIS. He’s the founder of ISIS. He’s the founder. He founded ISIS.” He added, “I would say the co-founder would be crooked Hillary Clinton.”

Republicans have tried in the past to blame the troubles in the Middle East on the Obama Administration’s foreign policy, but as always, Trump has gone one step further with his criticism.

The White House have declined to comment on Trump’s accusation.

It’s not the first time Trump has hit out at Obama. In June, he seemingly implied that Obama had some connection to the terrorist attack at a nightclub in Orlando, which killed 49 people.

In an interview with Fox News at the time, Trump said: “He doesn’t get it, or he gets it better than anybody understands.”
