WATCH: Protestor paints wall of Enda Kenny’s constituency office

She was arrested by Gardaí.

Footage has emerged of a protestor painting the wall of Enda Kenny’s constituency office in his hometown of Castlebar, Mayo.

The video shows the woman being stopped by a member of An Garda Síochana as he restrains her from continuing her efforts to paint the wall of the office.

The scene was witnessed and filmed by Matthew Largent, who was driving past with his family when he saw her protest.

The woman was arrested by Gardaí after she painted slogans on the wall this morning just after 10am.

She was protesting over the the ongoing situation in Syria.

The Taoiseach was not in the office at the time and when approached by JOE.ie, the Press Office declined to comment on the incident.

According to RTÉ, the woman is being held in Castlebar Garda Station.
