That’s not a very good defence, Donald.
Donald Trump responded to claims of sexual assault against him by two women by going on the offensive at an event in North Carolina on Friday.
Trump was this week accused of sexual assault by two women in an article in the New York Times, an article which Trump’s legal team sought to have retracted, a demand that was met with a firm refusal by the publication.
One of those women, Jessica Leeds, claimed that Trump touched her breasts and attempted to put his hand up her skirt on a first class flight to New York in the ‘90s.
Trump, who vehemently denies the allegations made against him, hit out at his accusers at a campaign event in Greensboro, North Carolina on Friday, calling them “horrible,” “sick,” and “liars”.
In relation to Ennis’ claims, Trump suggested that it was an attempt to destabilise his campaign and said witheringly of the accusations: “Believe me, she would not be my first choice, that I can tell you.”
