We have to respect how many final gigs they’ve had at this point.
Despite playing what many believed to be their final ever gig at a sold-out Dublin 3Arena earlier this month, legendary Irish band The Wolfe Tones have announced a new “final farewell” concert.
With the date confirmed after “incredible demand”, the group are set to perform at Thomond Park Stadium in Limerick on Sunday, 13 July 2025.

In a statement about the gig – dubbed “the final farewell” – the band said:
“Due to phenomenal reaction and massive demand following the recent performances at the 3Arena, Dublin and SSE Arena, Belfast, The Wolfe Tones are truly humbled by the support from everyone who attended.
“We are also aware of the ongoing huge demand from both those who were able to attend recent shows and those who were not due to massive ticket shortage.
“We’re very grateful to be invited back for a massive stadium farewell concert at the famed Thomond Park Stadium, Limerick, on July 13th, 2025!”
MCD said of the concert: “After an incredible journey spanning over six decades, the band will bid the final farewell to their fans with this major outdoor concert in what promises to be an unforgettable night in Limerick and their last Irish show.”
Tickets will go on sale at 8am on Monday 28 October 2024.
