A woman and child have been injured following a road crash in Longford on Saturday (30 April).
The collision occurred on the Ballyjamesduff Road at Granard and involved a car and a lorry.
The driver of the car, a woman in her 40s, was taken from the scene to Tallaght Hospital.
Her injuries are described as “serious”.
A girl, meanwhile, was taken to Cavan General Hospital to be treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
