These are the worst places in Ireland for traffic congestion

It can be difficult to remain patient when bumper to bumper for hours…

Galway is the worst place in Ireland for traffic congestion according to data gathered from the Inrix Global Traffic Scorecard.

Drivers in Galway will spend an average of 43.5 hours each year sitting in traffic during rush hour. The result means Galway ranks 53 overall on the global list, down four places from last year.

Dublin comes in second spot in Ireland with drivers spending an average of 31.4 hours in congested traffic. Overall, Dublin ranks in 151 place on the list.

Unsurprisingly, Cork rounds out the top three in Ireland with drivers forced to languish in their motors for 24.5 hours during rush hour traffic.

Limerick – 16.5
