The talented youngster has decided to focus on just one team at intercounty level…
The Evening Echo are reporting that Alan Cadogan will only play for the Cork intercounty hurlers next year and will not line out for the county’s footballers.
There was speculation that the youngster would follow in his brother Eoin’s footsteps by choosing to play with Brian Cuthbert’s side but following a successful season with the hurlers, he’s decided to stick with Jimmy Barry Murphy’s set-up.
The report also says there will be a new face in the coaching staff of that set-up with All-Ireland winning captain Mark Landers in line to take over the coaching duties from the out-going Kieran Kingston.
Hat-tip to Evening Echo.
