Hell hath a Cork woman annoyed during a Junior C match.

The world of Junior GAA is littered with some amazing tales and characters and we were alerted to possibly our favourite one of all time a little earlier today.

A JOE reader who wishes to remain anonymous got in touch to tell us the tale of a bizarre incident during a Junior C football semi-final between Nemo Rangers and Ballyphehane when a woman living beside the pitch didn’t react too kindly to a couple of footballs landing in her garden.

He initially sent us in an exchange that took place within a Nemo Rangers WhatsApp group discussing what had happened…

It’s necessary at this stage to point out that we’re relying on the accuracy of the testimony of the lads above, but if it true, it’s some story and we wouldn’t fancy hitting the ball over the netting on that particular pitch anytime soon.

Only in the GAA, wha?
